My name is Anna Roshal and I grew up in NYC and attended both public and private schools. I began tutoring math and language arts when I was 16 years old. I enjoyed it so much that I continued to tutor through college at the college learning center. Unfortunately, that didn’t last because I was in school to become an auditor. I worked for Grant Thornton for a few years and realized that something was missing. I really missed working with students in small groups.
Shortly after the realization, I moved to Danville – after the initial shock of the change in scenery and a few other things – I decided to get my teaching credential with University of Phoenix. I was able to connect with a few families and began working with their kiddos on math and language arts. Since the move in 2010, I’ve received my teaching credential and taught at the local district. I currently still live in Danville with my husband, three children, and our dog.
